Paid Media Coordinator

Part-Time: 15-20 hours per week

Job purpose

The media coordinator will be responsible for assisting the media director with research, coordination with media vendors, and campaign maintenance across a variety of media channels including (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Google, Bing, Traditional Print, Spot TV, Spot Radio, and Connected TV.  

For this position, knowledge of the ads manager platforms and experience with digital and traditional media is strongly preferred. Candidates familiar with Google Analytics and standard media reporting measurements (CPM, CPC, CPL, CPV, Bounce Rate, TOS…) will be favored. Additionally, possessing the ability to communicate and coordinate with media reps in regards to purchase orders, contracts, media flights, ad specs, and deadlines is required. 

We are looking for someone who is highly organized with strong communication skills, motivated to assist the media director in managing all the varied details involved in the execution of a media plan.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Conduct media outlet/platform research and target audience research.

  • Evaluate paid media opportunities and developing POV (point of view) documents.

  • Communicate with reps in regards to RFPs (requests for proposals), new offerings, rates, specs, deadlines, and contracts.

  • Create and manage detailed specs and deadlines worksheets for various clients.

  • Building media plan presentation decks.

  • Collect invoices, statements, tearsheets and receipts as needed and review for accuracy.

  • Tweak social ads using digital ads manager platforms as needed (update images, copy, etc.).

  • Create new paid social audiences using ads manager platforms.

  • Assist with media reports each week/month (collecting data from various ads manager platforms, Google, Bing, Google Analytics, etc.)

  • Create auto-generated reports in Google Analytics.

  • Request TV avails and input rates, ratings into monthly/quarterly/annual buy spreadsheets.

  • Manage TV makegood requests.

  • Create tracking URLs.

  • Create tracking phone numbers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.

  • Agency experience, specifically media buying experience is strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Google, Bing and LinkedIn ad platforms strongly preferred. 

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics preferred.

  • Highly proficient in Excel / Google Sheets required.

  • Strong communication skills (both for internal and external communication) required.

  • Ability to collaborate well with other team members. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment and pivot quickly when opportunities/needs arise.
